Sustainability is an important basis for our business decisions. We therefore ensure that we use fossil resources responsibly and endeavour to continuously reduce our CO₂ emissions.
For 5 years we have been cooperating with the certified environmental protection partner PLANT-MY-TREE®, which carries out reforestation projects in Germany and Europe to offset CO₂ emissions. Together, we reforest an area of approximately 2.5 m² of forest for every roll of recycled polyester fabric sold and have already created a new protected forest area of almost 20,000 m².
As part of our RETeX+RC product line we offer warp-knitted textiles made from recycled PET (rPET).
We are already saving up to 29 % CO₂ in the production of fabrics made from rPET in comparison to virgin PET (vPET). Our rPET fabrics are exclusively made in Germany using European yarns only.

By manufacturing RETeX+ products, we are actively contributing to more sustainable textile industry:
- every tonne of recycled PET reduces CO₂ emissions by three tonnes
- around 50 % less energy is consumed in the production of articles made from recycled PET
- in this way, we reduce harmful CO₂ emissions and conserve fossil ressources
