Sustainability – that’s what our concept GOING GREEN by Friedrich stands for

For our Retex+ product line, we exclusively process yarns made from recycled PET bottles, collected and manufactured in Europe.Environmental protection concerns everyone and every tree counts!Since the preservation of an intact environment and the responsible use of natural resources is not just lip service for us, we have gone one step further. Since December 2019, we have already been cooperating with the certified environmental protection partner PLANT-MY-TREE®, which carries out reforestation projects for CO² compensation throughout Germany.

Already today, we save up to 29% CO² in the production of fabrics made from re-PET compared to virgin PET. In addition, for every roll of fabric made from recycled polyester sold, an area of approximately 2.5 square meters of forest is reforested. After just 21 years, the carbon footprint of this roll has been fully offset. (average CO² absorption of a tree 12.5 kg/year, source: PLANT-MY-TREE®).

With your help already more than 2.600 trees have already been planted. Please continue to support this environmental project with Retex+ fabrics and maybe we will soon be able to walk through our common forest
