1950 \u2013<\/strong> Warping and warp knitting company founded in Rodgau by Georg and Otto Friedrich. 1955 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong> Monthly production rises at approximately 10 tons.\u00a01968\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> Production of warp knitting moves from Rodgau to Gro\u00df-Zimmern<\/a>. Monthly production reaches 50 tons.\u00a01975 \u2013<\/strong> Starting of the own lining collection distribution with own lining fabrics.\u00a01985 \u2013 <\/strong>Foundation of the subsidiary \u201cOtto Friedrich GmbH\u201d subsidiary founded in Vienna<\/a>, Austria. 1991 \u2013<\/strong> Triplication of the production as a new production plant was built in Gro\u00df-Zimmern<\/a> for warp knitted textiles worldwide.<\/p>\n

1995<\/strong> \u2013 First textiles for transfer printing are developed and offered. Monthly production: approximately 250 tons.\u00a01997<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Subsidiary Sachsen-Masche K\u00e4ndler KG<\/a> founded in Limbach-Oberfrohna OT K\u00e4ndler. Start of production at SMK 1998 \u2013 <\/strong>specialising in the production of linings for the clothing industry.\u00a01999<\/strong> \u2013 Introduction of the first textiles with own developed sublimation direct-printing coating, together with Company Ciba, CH under the trademark INKTeX+<\/a>BC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2000\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> New administration building and warehouse constructed in Gro\u00df-Zimmern, resulting in the triplication of the storage capacity for finished goods. 2001\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> Monthly production surpasses 400 tons. 2003\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> Development of the flame retardant direct finishing \u00bbINKTeX+<\/a>FLBS together with DuPont, USA. 2004\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> New production facility at Sachsen Masche constructed and put into operation, increasing capacity by 20%. 2004\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> Monthly production exceeds 450 tons. 2004\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> First developments of coated textiles for backlight (precursor of LUXX). 2006 \u2013 <\/strong>Main supplier of printed textiles for the 15th Asian Games in Doha (Qatar).<\/p>\n

2010 \u2013 <\/strong>Launch of the RETeX+ RC product line<\/a>, whose yarn is made exclusively from post-consumer PET bottles collected and recycled in the EU<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2011\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> New construction of a 4,500 m\u00b2 yarn warehouse in Rudolf-Diesel Strasse, Gro\u00df-Zimmern. 2012 \u2013<\/strong>Development and introduction of coated block-out applications, a world first. 2012 \u2013<\/strong> Construction of a new yarn hall at the Waldstra\u00dfe 73 production site. 2013\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> Reaching a turnover of more than 50 million euro. 2013\u00a0\u2013 <\/strong>Expansion of the company’s own laboratory to create further opportunities for textile testing.\u00a0 2014\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> In September both factories produce more than 600 tons together.\u00a02015\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> Foundation and opening of the subsidiary \u201cGesellschaft f\u00fcr textile Ausr\u00fcstung mbH (GtA)\u201d<\/a> in Neresheim. 2016\u00a0\u2013<\/strong> New warehouse was built in Gro\u00df-Zimmern, which is connected to the administration building. 2016 \u2013 <\/strong>GOF Industrial GmbH is founded, focussing on supplying the automotive industry with technical textiles. 2016 \u2013<\/strong>The combined production volume at all three sites exceeds 680 tonnes, of which more than 400 tonnes of textiles are produced at the Gro\u00df-Zimmern site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
